Team Leader Accounts Payable with SAP

Inviting applications for the role of Team Leader Accounts Payable with SAP (US Shift)

Good Accounts knowledge, journal entries and other accounts operations, SAP, Team Handling, Vendor reconciliation, Vendor payment, TAT and SLA management. Good Communication skills.

Candidates must be able to work from the NOIDA office.

Responsibilities

  • Reconcile vendor statements on daily basis
  • Review transactions done by team, process invoices him/herself along with providing resolutions for invoices and releasing invoices for Payment and resolve all vendor queries and requests coming via emails/ ‘VIM system’ within the agreed SLA
  • Review and validate essentials of valid invoice like supplier details, PO, bank account, invoice #, invoice date etc and maintain a tracker of the exceptions and ensure Invoices / queries are handled taking based on the exception tracker
  • Independently perform transactional tasks which support the compliance, planning and execution of assigned processes and maintain exception logs for process related exception as and when they occur for knowledge retention
  • Follow up with requisitions (via calls/ mails or VIM) to seek hold invoice as per the AP guideline
  • Enforce the internal compliance policy and guideline established by the management on their daily operational activities
  • Perform daily internal audit to ensure all Invoices / queries are balanced as per the guidelines

Team’s Responsibilities

  • Training new hires process
  • Setting daily work routines
  • Communicating with client’s and their managers on daily basis
  • Taking full responsibility of team’s targets of deliverables, breaks and attendance.
  • Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Maintaining historical records
  • Prepare and analyse monthly reports

Minimum and Mandatory Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate in Commerce (B.Com).
  • Min 3 years’ experience in accounts payable.
  • Strong English language skills (verbal and written
  • Ready for work from office
  • Knowledge of MS. Excel and other accounting software
  • Good team handling skills
  • Knowledgeable in MS Office (especially in Excel).
  • Ability to handle varied volumes of workloads and to meet targets and deadlines on time
  • Ability to take ownership for assigned workload/customers/vendors/queues etc and the team’s performance on daily basis
